Wendigo is a cryptid appearing in Cult of the Cryptids Chapter 2. The Wendigo spawns at The Ravine.

The Wendigo is a evil spirit originating from Native American Folklore. This massive deer-like creature has the ability to shatter the bones of victims.

Appearance

Wendigo appears to be double the height of the player. It's physical appearance is a large creature with a deer skull and antlers. On its torso, you can see its ribcage and skulls of its victims. It has deer-like legs and skeletal arms.

Behavior

Wendigo will wander around and patrol The Ravine at a speed of 35. If Wendigo sees the player, it will run at them, dealing 45 damage. Upon the player taking enough damage, you will be jumpscared and killed.

• Wendigo is the 2nd Cryptid to have glowing eyes, The 1st being Cartoon Cat
• Wendigo is the 1st Cryptid to be a deer
• Wendigo is the 2nd to be mutated, the 1st being Anxious Dog
• If a player is playing as him, you will fall into the ravine and the NPC floats above the Ravine.
• Wendigo has the same footstep sound as Unknown Howl, Yeti and Siren Head but is sped up due to him sprinting
• This is one of the few cryptids that require a rare totem (#4)
• Even when Wendigo is defeated, you will not get the Woods Watcher Badge
• He is the second cryptid to be folklore based, the first being Yeti
• If the player is killed by him or lost him, he will just go back to the Ravine
• He, along with Unknown Howl, Big Charlie, and Anxious Dog did not get a game icon
